
IT Staffing Sales Executive – Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new IT staffing opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and related life sciences organizations.
• Develop a robust pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, attending conferences, and participating in industry events.
• Position staffing solutions to address project management, data engineering, cybersecurity, R&D IT, automation, and digital transformation requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, procurement teams, and technical leaders.
• Engage in discovery conversations to comprehend project objectives, regulatory limitations, and talent deficiencies.
• Maintain regular communication to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and account development.
• Create account plans for key clients and pinpoint expansion possibilities across business units and technology sectors.
• Collaborate with recruiting teams to guarantee the timely provision of qualified candidates.
• Monitor performance metrics, predict revenue, and assist in quarterly business planning.
• Stay updated on life sciences trends, FDA regulations, digital health, AI/ML applications in drug discovery, and data governance.
• Understand the competitive landscape and effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.
• Supply clients with market intelligence regarding talent availability, compensation trends, and best hiring practices.
• Demonstrated success in IT staffing sales, business development, or account management.
• Experience in selling to life sciences organizations, such as pharma, biotech, medical device, or healthcare IT.
• Strong comprehension of IT roles, including software engineering, data science, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems that support clinical or R&D environments.
• Ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, organized, and adept at managing the entire sales cycle.
• Existing relationships with life sciences hiring or procurement teams are preferred.
• Familiarity with regulated IT environments is preferred.
• Experience with VMS/MSP programs is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field is preferred.
