IT Project Manager – Tax Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Leading end-to-end digital transformation projects – from defining the scope to implementation and stabilization of the solution

• Collaborating with business teams, tax departments, IT, developers, data/AI specialists, and technology providers

• Collecting and organizing business requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications

• Mapping AS-IS / TO-BE processes and identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability

• Managing the backlog, priorities, schedule, risks, dependencies, and scope changes

• Coordinating the work of multiple teams and ensuring the achievement of key milestones

• Organizing workshops with business and technology teams

• Verifying the alignment of the developed solution with actual business needs and the proposed process model

• Coordinating testing, UAT, implementation, and handover of the solution for ongoing maintenance

• Preparing project status updates, decisions, materials for management, and project communications

• Identifying reuse opportunities and building solutions utilized across various processes or teams

• Working within the EY.AI ecosystem, where AI agents assist in analyzing regulations, interpretations, and data, automating processes, and creating documents and recommendations for clients

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in managing IT projects, digital transformation, automation, or business transformation

• Ability to work simultaneously with business and technology teams

• Excellent organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple streams of work concurrently

• Skill in structuring problems and translating vague business needs into concrete requirements and tasks

• Experience in a project environment where scope and execution methods may evolve

• Ability to manage stakeholders at various levels of the organization

• Independence, ownership, and a strong ability to follow through on tasks

• Excellent communication skills with both business and technical teams

• Proficiency in English allowing for smooth collaboration with international teams

• Familiarity with tax processes, especially CIT, VAT, WHT, Transfer Pricing, Tax Accounting, or other compliance processes, is a plus

• Preferred experience in projects for tax, finance, accounting, or controlling departments

• Preferred experience in the transformation of tax or financial processes
