This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the project's scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Assess and allocate project resources, which include time, finances, and personnel.
• Create comprehensive project timelines that include milestones and deadlines.
• Establish the initial project budget across all labor and expense categories.
• Anticipate project costs as the work progresses.
• Monitor spending and evaluate financial performance against the approved budget.
• Generate financial reports detailing the status of the project budget.
• Develop baseline schedules that align with the initial budget.
• Update schedules by revising actual and planned activity dates.
• Report on schedule progress based on milestones in relation to the baseline.
• Offer regular updates to stakeholders through meetings, emails, and reports.
• Collect and integrate stakeholder feedback into project planning.
• Address and resolve stakeholder conflicts and challenges.
• Identify, mitigate, and monitor project risks, adjusting plans as required.
• Assign tasks according to team members’ skills and areas of expertise.
• Oversee team performance while providing support and guidance.
• Gather and assess project performance data, including task completion rates and quality metrics.
• Compile and present detailed project progress reports to stakeholders.
• Carry out various other duties and responsibilities as needed.
• Ensure delivery of identification system solutions for state government clients in the United States is within scope, on time, and on budget.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Willingness to travel approximately 4–12 weeks annually.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (or a related field), Business, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Understanding of IT systems, including infrastructure/applications, supporting technologies, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, and resource distribution.
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Expertise in budgeting and financial oversight.
• Proficient in Microsoft O365, Microsoft Project, and Jira.
• More than 8 years of experience managing complex, large-scale IT projects.
• Strong critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to changing environments.
• Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Certified Scrum Master, or ITIL certifications.
• Preferred: Experience managing IT projects in both private and public sectors.
