IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of B2B Franchise applications from initial intake to final launch.

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and required resources.

• Monitor progress towards project objectives and communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.

• Foster cross-functional alignment and ensure accountability for project commitments.

• Actively identify and mitigate risks, blockers, and dependencies.

• Maintain up-to-date project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and decision tracking documentation.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

• Assist teams in achieving their sprint commitments and delivery goals.

• Monitor and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and overall delivery.

• Eliminate obstacles and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Advocate for Agile principles within a hybrid delivery framework.

• Cultivate relationships across business and technology teams.

• Convert business goals into actionable delivery strategies.

• Lead discussions, drive decision-making, and resolve conflicts arising from competing priorities.

• Provide executive-level updates regarding project progress, risks, and recommendations.

• Champion consistent delivery processes, standards, and governance practices.

• Identify chances to utilize AI, automation, and modern delivery tools to optimize workflows, enhance decision-making, and boost productivity.

• Contribute to retrospectives, document lessons learned, and engage in process improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a technology or software delivery context.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in facilitating Agile teams.

• Strong knowledge of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

• Experience managing IT back-end and customer-facing projects in collaboration with Franchise stakeholders and software engineering teams.

• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or comparable platforms.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for completing work.

• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certifications are advantageous.
