IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of B2B Franchise applications from initiation to launch.

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource requirements.

• Monitor progress against project objectives and communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration and ensure accountability for project commitments.

• Proactively identify and address risks, blockers, and dependencies.

• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and decision tracking documentation.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.

• Assist teams in meeting sprint commitments and achieving delivery goals.

• Monitor and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and overall delivery.

• Eliminate barriers and promote continuous improvement.

• Cultivate relationships across business and technology teams.

• Translate business objectives into actionable delivery strategies.

• Encourage discussions, drive decision-making, and resolve conflicts when priorities are at odds.

• Deliver executive-level updates on progress, risks, and recommendations.

• Advocate for consistent delivery processes, standards, and governance practices.

• Identify opportunities to utilize AI, automation, and modern delivery tools to enhance workflows and boost productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of project management experience in a technology or software delivery setting.

• More than 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in facilitating Agile teams.

• Strong grasp of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

• Experience managing IT back-end and customer-facing projects in collaboration with Franchise stakeholders and software engineering teams.

• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or comparable platforms.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for completing tasks.

• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certifications are advantageous.
