IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within budget.

• Oversee international projects across the NORAM and EMEA regions.

• Create project plans, timelines, delivery schedules, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies.

• Manage assigned resources and enhance project profitability.

• Engage with project stakeholders, set clear expectations, and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.

• Choose appropriate delivery methodologies and facilitate efficient project governance.

• Lead and mentor project teams.

• Evaluate project data, make data-driven decisions, and communicate project results.

• Identify and proactively address potential challenges.

• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements and aligning projects with business objectives.

• Direct customer-facing AWS Cloud Migration, AI/ML, and Application Development projects for clients in North America.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineering teams across the US, Europe, and LATAM.

• Establish best practices, governance, and operational standards for SnapSoft's US PMO.

• Connect US customers with the global delivery organization.

• Enhance project management processes, reporting, and delivery excellence.

• Support strategic customer engagements that require executive-level communication and accountability.

• Occasionally travel within the US for customer workshops, executive meetings, or key project milestones.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in dynamic digital environments.

• At least 3 years managing software projects with a successful track record of delivering complex initiatives.

• Strong grasp of project management principles.

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies.

• Proficient in Jira, Miro, and Microsoft Project.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including executives.

• Strong organizational and prioritization capabilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Solution-oriented mindset, adept at anticipating challenges and driving successful outcomes.

• Experience in roles such as Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or Product Owner.

• Builder's mentality with the ability to develop new processes and solutions.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, international setting across various time zones.

• Adaptable, proactive, and energized by uncertainty.

• Must respond to application questions regarding U.S. citizenship and current U.S. residence.
