This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Create and sustain project management deliverables, including charters, requirements, business cases, risk assessments, schedules, and project organization charts.
• Oversee project resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Handle project modifications, incidents, and risks.
• Facilitate project tasks and activities throughout development and deployment phases.
• Transition projects into a state of ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure that deliverables align with project timelines, objectives, and quality standards.
• Secure stakeholder approvals and track project progress.
• Report on status and identify as well as mitigate risks that could affect project completion.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior management.
• Allocate resources effectively to guarantee project success and completion.
• Offer work direction and feedback to team members while assisting with problem resolution.
• Provide support on administrative and technical challenges.
• Aid in project-related staffing initiatives.
• Establish processes and determine suitable methodologies for critical systems and development projects.
• Support efforts to enhance the organization’s project management practices.
• Review, implement, and suggest tools for managing projects and the organizational project portfolio.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience is required.
• A minimum of five years of experience in managing IT projects.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with Visio is preferred.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technology platforms for IT applications, infrastructure, and information management.
• Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
• Capability to work within established guidelines with limited supervision.
• Experience with implementations and data migrations.
• Strong creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent project management capabilities.
• Solid quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Knowledge of software applications and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience collaborating closely with software developers is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and follow-up competencies.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Understanding of IT audit requirements for SOX, PCI DSS, NIST, HIPAA, and other government regulations.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to work outside these hours when necessary.
• Project management training or certification is advantageous, including CAPM, PMP, or CompTIA Project+.
• Experience with collections, particularly using the CUBS collection application, is a plus.
