IT Pre-Sales Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Madagascar.

📋 Description

• Analyze client requests as well as inquiries from internal technical teams.

• Define the technical and functional parameters of projects.

• Assist technical teams in executing solutions.

• Provide expertise to facilitate operations and collaboration with technical teams and the Sales Administration (ADV) team.

• Contribute to the development of technical and financial proposals, responses to tenders, and specifications.

• Prepare quotations and renewals for licenses and solutions.

• Conduct the necessary technical studies for proposal development.

• Consult with suppliers and partners.

• Create proposals that are technically sound and economically feasible.

• Take part in drafting commercial proposals.

• Ensure alignment between the client’s requirements, the proposed solution, costs, and service commitments.

• Identify and communicate potential margin or delivery risks.

• Stay informed about market technology solutions and trends.

• Collaborate with sales representatives, Sales Administration (ADV), technical teams, project managers, procurement, and technology partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree (engineering school, Master’s in computer science, or business school with a strong interest in technology).

• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a technical role (systems engineer, consultant, or architect) or in pre-sales.

• Comprehensive IT knowledge: infrastructure and systems, networking and security, cloud and managed services, backup and disaster recovery/business continuity, workstations and mobility, Microsoft 365/collaboration environments, hosting, and IT services.

• Ability to produce clear, structured, and well-supported documentation.

• Proficiency in technical English is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal and listening abilities.

• Persuasive with the capability to explain technical concepts effectively.

• Intellectual curiosity, responsiveness, and a collaborative spirit.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across various domains.

• Comfortable working with ERP systems; experience with Odoo is a plus.

• Maintain trusted relationships with technology partners and achieve necessary certifications.
