IT Platform Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Lakeside’s COMN platform, facilitating processes from customer order entry through to production, inventory, shipping, and delivery.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Production Control, Materials, Finance, Sales, Distribution, and Technology to convert business needs into product priorities and solutions.

• Oversee and prioritize the product backlog, balancing strategic initiatives, operational enhancements, integrations, technical requirements, defects, and support demands.

• Propel process improvement and standardization across various locations while enhancing platform performance, reliability, adoption, and user experience.

• Lead and nurture the Business Analyst supporting COMN while coordinating both internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

• Act as a crucial escalation point for COMN issues, facilitating cross-functional resolution and assessing the business impact of product investments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, enterprise applications, business analysis, software delivery, manufacturing systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience in owning the roadmap and lifecycle of a complex enterprise application, ERP, manufacturing system, order management system, or operational platform.

• Comprehensive understanding of product management practices, including discovery, prioritization, release planning, stakeholder management, and adoption.

• Demonstrated experience leading Business Analysts, technical professionals, or cross-functional teams within a matrixed environment.

• Strong grasp of end-to-end business processes, preferably in manufacturing, print production, order management, supply chain, or distribution.

• Capability to translate intricate business needs into clear requirements and priorities.

• Knowledge of Agile/software development methodologies, integrations, APIs, and application support.

• Familiarity with legacy systems like IBM i/AS400 is a plus.
