IT Network Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania.

📋 Description

• Design and execute contemporary network technologies

• Provide expert support for IT networks, with an emphasis on firewalls

• Offer 2nd and 3rd level assistance for network-related inquiries

• Diagnose and resolve issues within network environments

• Conduct error and root cause analyses

• Formulate strategies for enhancing service quality

• Document service architecture across multiple network settings

• Generate and maintain customer-specific service and operational documentation, including operating manuals and CMDB links

⛳️ Requirements

• Multiple years of professional experience in supporting IT networks, especially firewalls

• Strong knowledge of firewalls with relevant certification (Fortinet FCP or FCSS)

• Familiarity with Fortinet, Forcepoint, Palo Alto, and Sophos is preferred

• Basic understanding of Meraki and HPE network products is advantageous

• Proficient in proxies, web application firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and firewall log analysis tools

• Knowledge of Ansible, Python, and APIs for network component automation

• Experience with network management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, HP IMC, and Network Nodemanager

• Awareness of ITIL and ISO 20000 standards

• Proficient in business-level English, both written and spoken

• German language skills are a plus

• Willingness to learn and engage with new subjects
