This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design, create, and oversee cloud networks (VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, peering) across GCP, Azure, and AWS.
• Establish and uphold secure connections between cloud environments, data centers, offices, and terminals utilizing site-to-site VPN, Cloud Interconnect, ExpressRoute, or Direct Connect.
• Administer cloud load balancers, DNS, NAT, and network gateways for production services.
• Configure and sustain firewalls, security groups, and network policies.
• Provide networking support for the Kubernetes platform, encompassing ingress, network policies, and service-to-service traffic.
• Develop and manage network infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose latency and connectivity problems, and take part in an on-call rotation.
• Support zero-trust and secure remote access tools such as Zscaler, Cloudflare, or Palo Alto Prisma.
• Document network architectures and maintain diagrams and runbooks.
• Plan for capacity, high availability, and disaster recovery while assisting in managing cloud networking expenses.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, SRE, security, and development teams in Canada.
• 6–8 years of experience in network engineering, including a minimum of 2–3 years focused on cloud networking.
• Practical experience with networking in at least one major cloud provider (GCP, Azure, or AWS); familiarity with more than one is advantageous.
• Strong foundational knowledge in networking: TCP/IP, subnetting, routing (BGP, OSPF), DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, and load balancing.
• Experience with hybrid connectivity between on-premises locations and the cloud.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or cloud-native firewalls).
• Proficient in infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar technologies.
• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation purposes.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities using tools like Wireshark, traceroute, and cloud flow logs.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes networking (CNI, ingress controllers, service mesh) — a plus.
• SD-WAN experience (Cisco, Fortinet, VMware VeloCloud, or similar) — a plus.
• Familiarity with zero-trust or SASE tools: Zscaler, Cloudflare, Netskope, or Prisma Access — a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, or Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) — a plus.
• Background in logistics, transportation, or another 24/7 operational environment — a plus.
