This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Oversee architecture governance artifacts, decision logs, materials for the Architecture Review Board, and Architecture Decision Records.
• Assist with exception registers, compliance documentation, traceability matrices, and governance reports.
• Manage requests for security documentation and gather audit and compliance evidence.
• Monitor risks, issues, action items, mitigation plans, owners, and due dates for both program and client stakeholders.
• Aid in reporting for the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and documentation of performance.
• Develop meeting agendas, capture outputs from meetings, document decisions, and maintain records of actions.
• Ensure traceability between approved standards, governance decisions, and implementation activities.
• Create regular status reports, process documentation, and governance metrics.
• Collaborate with technical, security, and program teams to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date documentation.
• Support audit readiness and initiatives aimed at continuous process improvement.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to federal contract stipulations.
• Candidates must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be conducted in the U.S.
• Candidates should have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years within the last five (5) years.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or a high school diploma with four (4) additional years of relevant experience in place of a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant Systems Analyst experience is required.
• Experience in supporting architecture governance, program governance, compliance management, risk management, or enterprise technology modernization initiatives.
• Proven experience in maintaining architecture repositories, decision logs, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, compliance documentation, and governance reporting artifacts.
• Familiarity with Architecture Review Boards (ARBs), technical governance reviews, design approvals, and Architecture Decision Record (ADR) processes.
• Experience in supporting enterprise architecture documentation, including reference architectures, solution blueprints, standards, waivers, exceptions, and implementation guidance.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), exception registers, compliance evidence repositories, audit records, and governance workflows.
• Knowledge of tracking architecture, security, compliance, and governance decisions to ensure traceability, accountability, and audit readiness.
• Experience in supporting security authorization activities, ATO documentation, compliance reviews, security assessments, POA&M tracking, and risk remediation activities.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53, Zero Trust Architecture, FedRAMP, FIPS, RMF, and Federal security controls.
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, enterprise data governance tools, and analytics platforms.
• Experience collaborating with Architects, Security Engineers, Product Managers, Program Leadership, Governance teams, Compliance teams, and Government stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop governance dashboards, status reports, executive briefings, action-item reporting, compliance summaries, and leadership communications.
• Experience supporting audits, independent assessments, governance reviews, operational readiness reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
• Experience in supporting Federal government, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments is required.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional delivery teams supporting cloud, analytics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to documentation accuracy.
• Capable of working independently while effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams.
