IT Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Deliver advanced technical expertise and experience to create innovative solutions for internal stakeholders.

• Design and execute solutions utilizing technologies primarily centered around Microsoft Azure Cloud and Amazon AWS.

• Contribute to the digital transformation of RHI Magnesita within the Digital & Cloud Solution Delivery department.

• Collaborate with IT teams and other departments in accordance with corporate standards.

• Independently challenge existing ideas and propose new concepts.

• Ensure thorough documentation of all activities.

• Work alongside internal clients to identify and prioritize business needs.

• Align business objectives with effective and viable technical solutions.

• Partner with architects, developers, and engineers across various countries.

• Assess, estimate, and support system development based on business requirements.

• Implement market best practices and Agile methodologies.

• Stay updated on best practices, software development trends, and innovations.

• Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficient/Fluent in English.

• Experience with solutions hosted on Cloud platforms.

• Background in software development within a multitier architecture.

• Experience managing backlogs, evaluating risks, and balancing resource allocation.

• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud solutions like IaaS, PaaS, and Serverless.

• Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure, applications, IAM, and data analysis solutions.

• Scripting skills.

• Experience with project delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Ability to comprehend business requirements and collaborate with other teams for daily support.

• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with teams across different time zones.

• Experience integrating AI into development processes and daily workflows.

• Certifications in OutSystems and Cloud are advantageous.

• Desirable experience with C#, JavaScript, Node JS, Java, Python, RESTful APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of Microsoft tools including Entra ID, Power Platform, Intune, and Office 365.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Experience in Low Code development, preferably with OutSystems, is a plus.

• Familiarity with Angular, React, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps.

• Proficiency with IaC and automation tools such as ARM Templates, Terraform, Chef, or Ansible.

• Experience in identifying business opportunities, prioritizing customer needs, proposing viable technical solutions, managing multiple stakeholders, assessing complex landscapes, and discovering synergies to lower operational costs.

• Background in software development for web-based applications utilizing agile techniques.
