This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a team consisting of business analysts, scrum masters, and project managers.

• Establish optimal practices for gathering requirements, documentation, and engaging stakeholders.

• Set performance expectations and ensure accountability for delivery commitments.

• Promote growth, ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Provide training, mentorship, and support for teams utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to convert strategic objectives into actionable requirements.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business processes, customer journeys, technical dependencies, and the overall technical ecosystem.

• Administer Jira and advocate for the adoption of business analysis tools, documentation repositories, and knowledge bases.

• Lead long-term portfolio planning by defining scope, milestones, timelines, and budgets.

• Establish governance frameworks for decision-making, escalation, and reporting.

• Oversee resource planning and allocation across delivery teams.

• Act as Program Manager across delivery tracks, managing dependencies, risks, and milestones.

• Provide a unified program status report, including risks and priorities, to leadership.

• Ensure adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.

• Proactively escalate issues and offer solution-oriented recommendations.

• Manage projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

• Lead Scrum Masters during Agile ceremonies and guide Project Managers in roadmap delivery.

• Supervise the gathering, analysis, and development of business requirements and user stories.

• Develop and maintain business requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system interaction diagrams.

• Uphold governance practices and tools, including project intake, prioritization, reporting, retrospectives, and planning.

• Facilitate executive workshops, steering committees, and cross-functional discovery sessions.

• Act as a trusted advisor to business, operations, and technology stakeholders.

• Ensure alignment on program goals, success metrics, and dependencies.

• Translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans.

• Provide executive-level reporting that translates Agile progress into milestone-based tracking.

• Identify, monitor, and resolve project and program risks and issues.

• Anticipate bottlenecks and eliminate blockers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, project management, and project leadership.

• At least 2 years of experience as a people manager.

• Relevant certifications in business analysis, project management, and Agile methodologies are preferred, such as CBAP, PMP, CSM, and CSPO.

• Experience working in a hybrid model that integrates waterfall and agile project delivery.

• Expertise in data flows, integrations, and cloud-based architectures (GCP and Azure) for front-end and back-end platforms.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, Tableau, or other data analysis tools is highly desirable.

• Experience in data modeling, database design, or software development is a plus.

• Strong working knowledge of agile tools is required, preferably Jira and Confluence.

• Familiarity with Trello and Scrumwise, or the demonstrated ability to learn and implement a new tool.

• Ability to convert complex technical information into business-friendly language.

• Familiarity with cruise ship operations or the travel industry is an advantage.

• Employees must maintain good standing, with no written warnings in the past six months.
