This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead discovery efforts to gather business requirements for Legal and Global Trade projects.
• Convert regulatory and legal obligations into practical functional requirements for EMS, Appian, and Legal systems.
• Collaborate with Business Relationship Managers and IT Subject Matter Experts to clarify the scope and ensure adherence to consent-agreement expectations and GT modernization goals.
• Document both current-state and future-state workflows concerning jurisdiction/classification, contract/legal data management, export review cycles, approvals, and case management.
• Assist Legal in defining essential data elements, structured workflows, and compliance checkpoints for ITAR/EAR, export-controlled data, and global trade regulations.
• Analyze extensive datasets to inform compliance-driven decisions.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data summaries for leadership visibility and regulatory inspection purposes.
• Support system configuration, requirements validation, and testing assistance across Legal and Global Trade systems.
• Aid in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Legal/GT workflows and verify new features against compliance, regulatory, and legal business requirements.
• Collaborate with integration teams to ensure accurate data flow between ERP, PLM, EMS, and GT modernization systems.
• Act as a bridge between Legal, Global Trade, Compliance, Architecture, and data teams.
• Work alongside product squads with configuration specialists, QA/testers, developers, and data/AI analysts.
• Support Legal and Global Trade stakeholders during audits, review cycles, and sessions for approval readiness.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), compliance process expectations, structured workflows, and cross-functional decision-making paths.
• Assist in refining methodologies for classification, data governance, and compliance monitoring.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 6–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Legal, Compliance, Global Trade, or regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience in interpreting ITAR/EAR, export-control requirements, or in supporting systems managing controlled technical data.
• Proven capability to document workflows, requirements, and regulatory considerations across cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in cross-functional collaboration.
• High attention to detail and quality of documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently at a senior individual-contributor level.
• Experience with compliance-related enterprise platforms.
• Experience working with Legal, Contracts, and Global Trade stakeholders, as well as supporting audit or certification reviews.
• Familiarity with low-code automation platforms used in compliance workflows.
