IT Business Analyst – Freelance/Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop creative solutions by analyzing requirements, creating workflow diagrams, and providing detailed specifications.

• Convert business inquiries into actionable development strategies, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Oversee projects from initial concept to full implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Facilitate the integration of new technologies to ensure seamless functionality and transition.

• Promote the advantages of new technology to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Work closely with QA to maintain high quality standards.

• Design flowcharts using tools like Visio or Draw.io, with UML skills considered an advantage.

• Break down technical concepts for non-technical audiences, acting as a bridge between business and technology teams.

• Manage stakeholder relationships and identify areas for enhancement.

• Specify requirements for IT systems and projects.

• Collaborate with design and technical teams, contributing to roles such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, or QA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in digital product development, including roles as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, Product Owner, or Consultant.

• Background in financial services, including banking, fintech, insurtech, or related fields is advantageous.

• Ability to take ownership of deliverable documents and structure them according to project needs.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective time management, organizational, and self-management abilities.

• Good knowledge of architecture, APIs, message queues, and related technologies.

• Familiarity with software development ticketing systems such as Jira.

• Proficient in written and spoken English and Hungarian.

• Experience in UX research is a plus.
