IT Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work closely with stakeholders to create documentation for current-state and future-state business process maps.

• Recognize challenges, necessary enhancements, and impacts across systems and existing processes.

• Transform data into structured, comprehensible formats for effective communication of analytical findings.

• Develop sustainable relationships with business users and facilitate consensus on critical decisions.

• Draft and oversee comprehensive functional requirements.

• Break down requirements into user stories featuring Gherkin-style acceptance criteria within an Agile delivery framework.

• Engage as an active member of cross-functional teams, leading processes, ensuring deliverables, and following up on actions.

• Identify risks, bridge gaps, and provide comparisons between current and future states for test planning and change management.

• Deliver reliable work estimates and communicate progress, obstacles, and forthcoming steps.

• Offer and receive constructive feedback to foster growth and continuous improvement.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.

• Proven understanding of process flows and experience in root cause analysis.

• Basic knowledge of databases, reporting, and project management tools.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shifting priorities autonomously.

• Involvement in Agile/Scrum development team reviews and retrospectives.

• Capability to influence without authority and drive alignment and processes.

• High level of self-motivation and responsibility for deliverables.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Capacity to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Must be eligible to work in the US.

• Preferred: Over 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, Mural, Miro, or similar tools.

• Preferred: Experience with Salesforce solutions and Sales Operations processes.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Octopai, or similar tools.

• Preferred: Proficiency with Balsamiq or similar prototyping/wireframing tools.
