This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and sustain automation scripts and workflows utilizing PowerShell, Python, Bash, or comparable tools.
• Establish and manage automated workflows for user lifecycle, device provisioning, and identity lifecycle employing Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, APIs, and webhooks.
• Implement logging and alerting mechanisms in automations to ensure actions are auditable and measurable.
• Monitor hours saved and reduction in errors.
• Transform repetitive IT operations processes into dependable, documented, automated solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to expedite script development, troubleshoot automation failures, and create technical documentation.
• Oversee, configure, and monitor Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and Tanium.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
• Address Windows and macOS end-user computing issues via ticketing, messaging, and voice or video sessions.
• Manage requests from start to finish and escalate critical incidents and system alerts to senior IT Operations.
• Document technical solutions in accordance with corporate IT and Information Security standards and policies.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Information Security teams to pinpoint automation opportunities.
• Test, deploy, and oversee automation workflows with partner teams.
• Occasionally provide guidance on scripting fundamentals and automation best practices.
• Document automation workflows, runbooks, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Own and maintain the automation knowledge base, runbooks, and integration notes.
• Enhance reliability, minimize inefficiencies, and anticipate dependencies in future builds.
• Monitor automation performance and reliability, resolving issues within your area of responsibility.
• Validate AI-generated scripts, configurations, and recommendations in non-production environments.
• Share successful AI-assisted methods and prompts with fellow team members.
• Identify chances to implement automation and AI in Business Technology workflows and elevate larger opportunities to management.
• 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk operations, or a related technical position.
• Practical experience writing and maintaining automation scripts utilizing PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Practical experience managing or supporting enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
• Experience in adapting or troubleshooting existing automations, scripts, or workflows to address moderately complex, ambiguous technical problems.
• Experience utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude for research, communication, analysis, documentation, automation, workflow optimization, and decision-making.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to create, deploy, or automate a functional solution, demonstrated by a portfolio, repository, or project example.
• Must be based in the United States Central or Mountain time zone, with working hours aligned to that time zone.
• Capability to manage escalations requiring coordination across teams.
• Participation in an on-call rotation for urgent matters outside of business hours.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be open to occasional travel to Rithum offices, expected quarterly.
