Senior QA Automation Developer – HELOC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create test automation in alignment with feature development utilizing AI tools along with functional and performance testing frameworks.

• Leverage LLMs to generate feature test plans and maintain internal knowledge repositories for automation and in-depth testing activities.

• Establish tailored AI workflows that empower developers to utilize existing automation tests for testing new features, assess test failures, and resolve environment-related issues.

• Conduct functional and performance testing in temporary environments to deploy microservices across various versions and configurations, while also customizing database content.

• Adapt, configure, patch services, and implement infrastructure and code modifications through the production environment.

• Examine log files and resolve production challenges by automating and replicating them in non-production settings.

• Collaborate with the QA platform to devise feature validation and test automation strategies.

• Engage in application specification assessments and architectural design discussions from a quality standpoint.

• Determine testing approaches for various features and functionalities.

• Set up and oversee applications in the production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in developing test automation using Java with Selenium/Playwright.

• Skilled in utilizing Integrated Development Environments (IDE) like IntelliJ or Eclipse, both with and without coding assistants.

• Experience in deploying services across diverse environments, including Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with deployment tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins.

• Ability to enhance the efficiency of existing test infrastructure through Docker, Playwright, and headless browser executions.

• Knowledge of log aggregation tools like SumoLogic or Kibana.

• Understanding of application monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.

• Enthusiastic about automating tests and delivering top-notch features in a dynamic environment.

• Comfortable operating within an Agile methodology.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory for all roles.
