This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows utilizing PowerShell, Python, Bash, or comparable tools.
• Establish and manage automated workflows for user lifecycle, device provisioning, and identity lifecycle using Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, APIs, and webhooks.
• Implement automation with logging and alerting features to ensure actions are auditable and quantifiable.
• Convert repetitive IT operations processes into dependable, documented automated solutions.
• Leverage AI tools for script creation, troubleshooting, documentation, configuration research, and solution design, ensuring outputs are validated before production deployment.
• Manage, configure, and oversee Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, and Tanium.
• Administer and provide support for Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
• Address Windows and macOS end-user computing issues via ticketing, messaging, and voice or video sessions.
• Document technical solutions, automation workflows, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Information Security teams to identify opportunities for automation.
• Test, implement, and monitor automation workflows in partnership with other teams.
• Offer occasional guidance on scripting fundamentals and automation best practices.
• Maintain the automation knowledge base, ensuring runbooks and integration notes are up to date.
• Track automation performance and reliability, escalating and resolving issues as necessary.
• Share effective AI-assisted strategies and identify opportunities to integrate automation and AI into Business Technology workflows.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and manage cross-team escalations.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk operations, or a related technical field, including practical experience in writing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Practical experience in administering or supporting enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.
• Proven experience in adapting or troubleshooting existing automation, scripts, or workflows to address moderately complex and ambiguous technical challenges.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude to enhance productivity.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI coding tools like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to create, deploy, or automate working solutions, supported by a portfolio, repository, or project example.
• Must be located in the United States Central or Mountain time zone, with working hours corresponding to that time zone.
• Capability to manage escalations that require cross-team coordination.
• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for urgent issues outside of regular business hours.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Rithum offices, estimated at quarterly visits.
• Successful experience in working within a remote environment.
• Preferred: At least 3 years of experience in IT automation, systems engineering, or a DevOps-adjacent role.
• Preferred: CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Linux+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications in scripting/automation.
• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Intune, Jira, Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, REST APIs, webhooks, triggers, conditional logic, Jamf, Tanium, or CrowdStrike.
• Preferred: Personal projects, repositories, or hackathon contributions demonstrating scripting or automation skills.
