IT, Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Address and resolve daily support inquiries through Slack and ticketing systems.

• Oversee user access and identity management across platforms such as Google Workspace, GitHub, Notion, 1Password, and other SaaS applications.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including seats, licenses, permissions, roles, and policies.

• Administer SaaS tools and infrastructure, involving account provisioning, license management, vendor tool evaluation, and integrations.

• Implement process automation using Terraform, API-driven Python scripts, Slack self-service workflows, monitoring snippets, and bots.

• Assist with security operations, including YubiKey setup, onboarding, access reviews, and addressing security policy inquiries.

• Carry out deployments and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.

• Manage GCP services such as Cloud Run, IAM, Cloud Functions, and Cloud SQL.

• Operate Cloudflare services including DNS, WAF, and Access.

• Develop and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.

• Gain hands-on experience with Web3/blockchain operations.

• Collaborate across European and US time zones in a highly compliant remote setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT engineering, systems administration, IT operations, or roles in managed service providers (MSP).

• Proven scripting skills in Python, Go, JavaScript, or Bash to automate repetitive tasks.

• Practical experience running real workloads on a public cloud, preferably GCP, although any major provider is acceptable.

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

• Experience in managing Google Workspace or a comparable identity platform alongside a multi-SaaS environment.

• Familiarity with roles, policies, permissions, and licenses.

• Solid understanding of Git/GitHub and comfort with CI/CD principles.

• Excellent proficiency in written English.

• A documentation-centric and process-oriented approach.

• Comfortable utilizing AI-assisted tools.

• Preferred: extensive GCP experience, knowledge of Terraform/IaC, familiarity with Cloudflare, exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and interest in Web3/blockchain.

• Previous experience in Web3 is advantageous but not mandatory.
