This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.
• Supervise efforts related to ACL Outreach and Referral / Sendout Testing
• Set up EpicCare Link for new external submitters
• Manage point-to-point interfaces for high-volume external clients
• Facilitate hC1 (Accumen) orders/results connections to third-party EMRs
• Support and maintain test menus for integrations with reference laboratories including LabCorp, Quest Diagnostics, Mayo, ARUP, and Viracor
• Plan, develop, implement, and operate applications within the defined scope
• Document and assess current systems and suggest improvements
• Contribute to system implementation priorities, staffing resources, and conceptual application design
• Ensure that applications and interfaces meet the needs of providers and users while maintaining accessible, integrated information
• Act as the primary point of contact for operational leadership in application domains
• Execute application-system phases according to established plans, designs, and timelines
• Communicate with users, committees, and affiliates regarding system plans, designs, and project progress
• Consult with users to identify and assess opportunities for application improvements
• Manage application modifications and enhancements, including analysis, testing, change management, and user feedback
• Assist with hardware, software, and consultant contracts and service agreements
• Establish and nurture vendor relationships
• Lead multiple information-systems lifecycle projects
• Oversee information-systems processes that support organizational initiatives
• Perform human-resources responsibilities for staff
• Develop and propose operating and capital budgets while controlling expenditures
• Ensure adherence to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct, policies, regulations, and applicable laws
• Participate in travel and operate necessary equipment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in information systems, solution design, systems development, implementation, and installation within a complex environment
• 1 year of management experience in project management and overseeing multi-discipline work teams
• Experience in systems design and development from business requirements analysis through daily management
• Advanced project management skills
• Knowledge of effective best practices in information systems operations, regulations, and guidelines
• Proven experience establishing working relationships and collaborating with various teams
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
• Must reside in an approved U.S. state for the fully remote position
