IS Applications Analyst – Laboratory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Implement standard principles, theories, and concepts pertinent to the technical field.

• Offer solutions to problems of moderate complexity.

• Oversee small to moderately complex projects.

• Develop and execute new or revised system requirements and procedures.

• Assess user requirements.

• Design and implement systems for processes of moderate complexity.

• Coordinate activities among project team members.

• Provide direction, training, and mentorship to less experienced staff within the department.

• Initiate necessary adjustments to maintain project schedules.

• Deliver professional support for a large, multi-facility healthcare organization.

• Cultivate and strengthen working relationships with internal and external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with colleagues throughout Providence St. Joseph Health and Services on cross-departmental projects and initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Epic accreditation or certification, maintained within 90 days of hire.

• Four years of relevant industry experience.

• Certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations upon hire (preferred).

• Three years of experience in Healthcare Information Systems (preferred).

• Experience with Epic (preferred).
