IS Applications Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert for Epic applications, specifically Cadence and Prelude.

• Design, develop, test, implement, and enhance Epic applications along with associated technologies.

• Evaluate user requests, workflow needs, and business goals.

• Create effective system solutions for projects of moderate complexity.

• Lead and assist with small to medium-scale projects, upgrades, enhancements, and problem-solving efforts.

• Work in collaboration with operational, clinical, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and assess workflow impacts.

• Configure system functionalities and implement process enhancements.

• Conduct system testing and coordinate deployment processes.

• Create documentation and deliver ongoing support for production applications.

• Track project timelines, identify risks or obstacles, and take corrective actions as needed.

• Foster relationships with caregivers, operational leaders, providers, vendors, and Information Services partners.

• Provide technology solutions that align with organizational goals, improve workflows, and enhance patient access, operational efficiency, and the experience of patients and caregivers.

• Integrate Providence’s mission and core values into everyday tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Information Services, or a comparable field of study/experience.

• Epic accreditation or certification, maintained within 90 days of hire.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Preferred certifications in software applications, technology infrastructure, or clinical specializations upon hire.

• Preferably 3 years of Healthcare Information Services experience.

• Experience with Epic, particularly Cadence and Prelude, is desirable.

• Hello World or Welcome certifications and relevant experience are advantageous.
