This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Identify and prioritize new client opportunities and sales potential for designated product lines to enhance business growth.
• Assist Account Managers in discovering new opportunities within the market and customer segments.
• Cultivate trusted and valued relationships with clients.
• Aid Account Managers with sales execution and serve as a reliable technical advisor within accounts.
• Provide technical expertise for the product line and engage technical support as necessary.
• Convey voice-of-customer insights to the Business Unit.
• Participate in technical visits to Business Unit, manufacturing, R&D sites, and Demo centers alongside customers.
• Facilitate new Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives within the territory to enhance adoption rates and revenue returns.
• Support the sales funnel and engage in forecast calls with country leads and sales teams.
• Utilize Thermo Fisher Scientific sales tools to accurately and timely manage accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecasts.
• Maintain awareness of competitor activities and industry trends.
• Collaborate with sales, field application, lab application, IES specialists, and other internal partners to deliver technical expertise.
• Provide product-positioning training to country sales teams.
• Continuously enhance and maintain technical knowledge of assigned product lines and company literature.
• Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at customer locations.
• A minimum of 2 years of consistent sales experience in the analytical/relevant instrument market and managing complex, high-value accounts is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Strong market knowledge and business insights regarding the industry sector, markets, and key trends are preferred.
• Experience in delivering seminars and presentations.
• A commercial mindset, highly motivated by the desire to secure new business, with a proven and persistent pursuit of opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English and other languages as required in the assigned region.
• Proven commercial excellence while working in a matrixed environment.
• Capability to explain and sell the technical features of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s scientific product portfolio.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations up to 80%, including overnight travel.
