Invoice Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and milestone-based invoices for the Connecticut Medicaid account.

• Aid in the administration of Modification Hours.

• Gather, review, and compile invoice support information and billing documentation from various departments and teams.

• Maintain spreadsheets for invoice tracking, billing records, modification hours, and electronic backup documentation for invoices.

• Reconcile billing data along with supporting reports.

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of source documents and follow up on any missing information.

• Monitor invoice due dates to ensure timely submissions.

• Provide updates regarding billing status to Finance and account leadership.

• Assist with audits, requests for invoice documentation, process improvement initiatives, and other administrative duties related to the account.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in an administrative, billing, finance, project coordination, or business support capacity.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be taken into account.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

• Keen attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in working with spreadsheets and reporting tools.

• Background in supporting invoicing, finance, accounting, or project administration functions.

• Familiarity with SharePoint or document management systems.

• A broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 24 Mbps download and 8 Mbps upload is required for teleworking.
