Investigator Payment Lead – Senior Associate

📋 Description

• Manage the comprehensive administration of investigator and site payments for assigned clinical studies, from initiation to conclusion.

• Ensure that payment systems are set up correctly, which includes study budgets, payment triggers, visit schedules, and invoiced activities.

• Assist in study start-up efforts by planning and coordinating payment-related milestones to facilitate timely payments to sites.

• Review and verify EDC and payment data to guarantee accurate payment processing and address any discrepancies or failures.

• Offer guidance on establishing and maintaining site contracts and budgets within the payment systems.

• Cultivate relationships with external vendors and service providers concerning payments, invoices, and inquiries.

• Investigate and resolve intricate payment challenges involving contracts, budgets, regulatory obligations, tax considerations, currencies, and specific site circumstances.

• Monitor payment performance across various studies, identify trends, risks, and root causes of delays, and implement corrective measures.

• Ensure that adequate funding, purchase orders, contracts, and work orders are established for seamless payment processing.

• Address escalated payment issues at both site and study levels to uphold a positive experience for the sites.

• Participate in audit, inspection, and compliance activities related to investigator payment procedures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to promote process enhancements and improve operational efficiency.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in clinical research, site payments, contracts, finance, budgeting, or clinical operations.

• Strong comprehension of clinical trial processes, site budgets, and investigator payment methods.

• Experience working in a CRO, sponsor, or clinical research setting.

• Proficient in interpreting contracts, budgets, and payment terms with a high degree of accuracy.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and experience in tackling complex operational challenges.

• Capability to work autonomously while effectively contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, compliant work.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant business systems.

• Legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.
