Inventory & Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Standardize inventory and purchasing processes across various locations.

• Enhance procedures for receiving, stocking, transferring, staging, issuing, returning, and adjusting inventory.

• Strengthen controls surrounding purchase orders, approvals, receiving, and reconciliation.

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment strategies to minimize shortages and excess inventory.

• Track open purchase orders, backorders, vendor lead times, and material availability.

• Enhance inventory-related workflows and data accuracy within ServiceTitan.

• Oversee inventory transactions, transfers, adjustments, material usage, and job costing.

• Perform inventory and purchasing audits and investigate any discrepancies.

• Develop procedures for cycle counts and physical inventory.

• Ensure branch compliance with established inventory and purchasing processes.

• Create SOPs, reporting, and KPIs related to inventory accuracy and operational performance.

• Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues related to pricing, availability, delivery performance, and service.

• Support accurate material pricing and updates to the price book within ServiceTitan.

• Train branch, warehouse, and operations teams on inventory and purchasing procedures.

• Identify process gaps and implement practical, scalable improvements.

• Assist newly acquired locations in transitioning to standardized inventory and purchasing practices.

• Work closely with branch leadership, warehouse teams, technicians, procurement, operations, and finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with ServiceTitan is mandatory.

• Prior experience in the garage door industry is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of inventory controls, purchase orders, receiving, transfers, adjustments, reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical inventory.

• Proven experience in creating and implementing SOPs and standardized processes.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, procurement, operations, or process improvement is preferred.

• Experience in a multi-location service, field operations, or warehouse environment is strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a talent for identifying the root causes of inventory discrepancies.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy and process consistency.

• Comfortable interacting with employees at all levels, including warehouse teams, technicians, branch managers, finance, and leadership.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and growing environment.

• Willing to travel to operating locations as necessary.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
