This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee stock, goods in transit, production inventory, and obsolescence reserves within designated stockrooms.
• Assess and uphold inventory parameters for standard assortments, which include consignment stock levels.
• Administer strategic stock management in assigned stockrooms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives to enhance inventory control.
• Analyze and implement stock optimization strategies, including the returns process.
• Engage in and assist with regional and global initiatives and projects.
• Facilitate inventory counts for consignment stock and warehouses to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Maintain net working capital through effective inventory planning and management while supporting customers’ active fleets.
• Assist Demand Planners with fleet forecasting and inventory management data.
• Work alongside Demand Planners and PSSRs to guarantee accurate reflection of fleet data in stock forecasting.
• Analyze, provide insights, and propose solutions to enhance operations of Sandvik Mining equipment models at mine sites.
• Aid in the assessment of incoming equipment and focused inventory planning in local stockrooms or selected hubs.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Project Management, or Logistics.
• Experience in inventory management.
• Technical expertise and understanding of heavy-duty mining equipment is advantageous.
• Strong proficiency in computer systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent report writing capabilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to function effectively as part of an integrated, diverse team.
