This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Spearhead the management and growth of the Axiom Space University Alliance through strategic engagement and global scientific collaboration.
• Participate in business development, strategic planning, and logistical coordination for Alliance membership, customer interaction, and community outreach initiatives.
• Organize meetings, Working Groups, workshops, conference sessions, and ensure the integration of Alliance activities within broader Axiom Space business strategies.
• Oversee the development and publication of manuscripts and white papers.
• Monitor and fulfill action items from Alliance activities in collaboration with Axiom Space colleagues and Alliance members.
• Cultivate and support international partnerships for science-based Low Earth Orbit (LEO) activities, encompassing research, technology development, and in-space manufacturing.
• Collect, analyze, and incorporate feedback from Alliance membership into future planning and community initiatives.
• Update stakeholders and leadership on program progress, status, and potential challenges.
• Maintain an adaptable and efficient program management approach that aligns with member priorities and Axiom’s strategic objectives.
• Assist in creating and developing customer pipelines for scientific markets while shaping compelling value propositions.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in an aerospace or scientific field, complemented by 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate and negotiate agreements, collaborations, and teams, while establishing impactful strategic partnerships.
• Experience in supporting or leading academic and/or research programs and partnerships is preferred.
• Capability to operate effectively and efficiently in uncertain, fast-paced environments.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Strong organizational skills to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
• Enthusiasm for space, science, and the overarching mission.
• Collaborative and collegial growth mindset.
• High emotional intelligence and effective communication with diverse teams of academic researchers, government officials, and business leaders.
• Proficiency in using systems and tools for technological solutions.

• Must be able to pass a U.S. government background investigation.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
• Domestic and international travel may be required.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• May involve lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
