This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of and drive the account strategy for sovereign and government clients, ensuring alignment of commercial efforts with geopolitical priorities, national goals, and long-term partnership value.
• Act as the primary relationship manager across ministries, agencies, and state-backed entities, cultivating trusted, executive-level connections and navigating intricate stakeholder landscapes.
• Transform government and sovereign demand signals into structured commercial opportunities, fostering pipeline development and revenue enhancement in international markets.
• Lead intricate negotiations that involve government procurement frameworks, public-private partnerships, and non-standard commercial arrangements, striking a balance between competitiveness, compliance, and profitability.
• Convert policy, regulatory, and geopolitical factors into actionable sales strategies that effectively position the company within government-led or government-influenced initiatives.
• Integrate cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements align with executable, revenue-generating solutions.
• Direct the qualification and prioritization of opportunities by leveraging a detailed understanding of government funding cycles, procurement pathways, and strategic objectives.
• Maintain long-term partnerships post-award, utilizing government experience to enhance relationships into repeat business, multi-mission programs, and wider commercial growth opportunities.
• Communicate project progress, status updates, and potential challenges to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implement and uphold agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• A Bachelor's degree and over 12 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership, with substantial exposure to international governments, sovereign clients, or public-sector environments.
• A proven track record of transforming government relationships, policy initiatives, or national programs into revenue-generating commercial opportunities.
• Experience in leading complex, high-value negotiations that involve government procurement frameworks, public-private partnerships, or hybrid commercial structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage long-cycle, multi-stakeholder sales processes across international markets.
• Strong knowledge of government decision-making processes, funding mechanisms, and procurement pathways.
• Financial and commercial acumen, encompassing pricing strategy, contract structuring, and profitability management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A history of achieving results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Employs sound judgment to proactively solve problems, positively impacting challenging situations.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
