Internal Sales Support Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily pipeline to identify necessary tasks

• Accurately and efficiently prepare proposals and engagement agreements

• Set up the workflow system for illustration requests

• Familiarize yourself with the products and services offered by Blue Ridge Associates

• Establish and nurture relationships with recordkeeping wholesalers, DCIO wholesalers, advisors, and internal partners

• Complete and maintain internal databases in accordance with internal partner procedures

• Meet assigned turnaround times, production, and accuracy targets

• Promptly communicate significant issues and exceptions to the appropriate higher-level authority

• Facilitate information transfer between systems for the New Business Team

• Assist the sales team by preparing meeting materials for prospective clients and financial advisors

• Complete additional projects as requested

• Research and input new referral relationships into the pipeline

• Execute other assigned tasks and projects

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience; preferred background in retirement plan sales/service

• Strong multi-tasking, collaboration, and communication skills, both oral and written

• Excellent attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

• Experience with Salesforce is a plus

• Associate or bachelor's degree; relevant skills and industry experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

• Background in retirement plans or retirement plan recordkeeping systems

• Previous experience supporting consultants or specialists in a financial or benefits-related setting

• Experience in a TPA environment

• Understanding of IRS regulations pertaining to retirement plans

• Must be authorized to work in the US
