This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries and daily account requirements.
• Develop and sustain relationships with customers, distributors, and broker partners.
• Oversee customer onboarding and account setup processes.
• Handle incoming sales inquiries and assess new opportunities.
• Assist with sales scheduling, presentations, follow-up activities, quotes, proposals, and pricing documentation.
• Organize product sample requests and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor customer engagement through order placements.
• Support product launches and promotional activities.
• Keep CRM records updated, including sales opportunities, pipeline activity, contact lists, and relevant documentation.
• Produce weekly sales reports and performance dashboards.
• Keep track of contract renewal dates and pricing modifications.
• Facilitate communication among internal teams, distributors, and brokers.
• Assist with distributor onboarding, broker reporting, territory management, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Align inventory availability with customer demand and help address order or fulfillment challenges.
• Organize logistics for trade shows and customer events, including materials, sample shipments, lead tracking, and follow-ups.
• Maintain sales collateral and marketing materials.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales support is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Google Workspace Suites.
• Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, First Bite, or similar platforms.
• Experience in food manufacturing, foodservice, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or ingredient sales is preferred.
• Background in working with foodservice distributors is advantageous.
• Knowledge of broker-managed sales organizations is preferred.
• Experience in supporting national accounts or regional sales teams is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
• Capability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends or after hours as needed.
• Must possess a valid state driver's license and a personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel up to 15 percent.
