This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough internal control assessments to pinpoint risks and suggest enhancements.

• Assist during regulatory audits and effectively address inquiries from external auditors.

• Track internal control issues and resolutions, working closely with action owners to ensure prompt resolution of findings.

• Manage and leverage Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems.

• Collaborate with various functions and teams to foster a robust risk and control culture.

• Support the ongoing enhancement of internal control processes and documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 6 years of professional experience in internal auditing and/or internal controls within the industry.

• Practical knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements, with a solid understanding of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting including both process/business controls and IT controls.

• Experience in the crypto, fintech, or related financial services industries is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with large publicly traded companies (e.g., listed on USA or UK stock exchanges) as well as high-growth startups or scale-ups preparing for an IPO is a plus.

• Previous experience in external audits is beneficial.

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are preferred.

• Practical experience with GRC systems; knowledge of AuditBoard is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills; multilingual candidates will be given added consideration.

• Capability to work effectively within cross-functional teams without the necessity for travel.
