Intern – Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge of EMC software development practices, tools, and standards.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of assigned applications.

• Engage in testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution processes.

• Assist in reviewing and updating technical application documentation.

• Take part in team meetings, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline.

• Junior standing is preferred.

• A cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher is preferred.

• Proven interest in software development through coursework, projects, or extracurricular involvement.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Quick ability to learn new technologies and concepts.

• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Capability to work efficiently within a team environment.

• Basic understanding of programming concepts.
