This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Execute a specified summer project centered on analytics, automation, business intelligence, process enhancement, or cutting-edge technology.
• Examine extensive datasets to uncover trends, opportunities, and valuable business insights.
• Create visualizations, dashboards, presentations, or reporting solutions that facilitate informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with financial analysts, business executives, and technical teams to grasp business requirements.
• Assess opportunities to enhance efficiency through automation, technology, or AI-driven solutions.
• Assist in projects related to operational and financial analytics, business intelligence, data quality, process improvement, and reporting optimization.
• Investigate automation possibilities, AI, and applications of emerging technologies.
• Present project outcomes and recommendations to department leadership upon completion of the internship.
• Work alongside Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Operations, and Technology teams to convert data into actionable business insights.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of conveying findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis gained through coursework, projects, or prior internships.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively in a professional setting.
• Preferred experience with SAS, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar analytical tools.
• Interest in automation, artificial intelligence, or emerging technologies is advantageous.
• Preferred experience in completing academic, research, or team-based projects.
• Keen interest in pursuing a long-term career in analytics, business intelligence, finance, or technology.
• Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (graduating between December 2027 and June 2029) enrolled in a relevant degree program.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
