Interim COO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee manufacturing operations across multiple sites focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, personnel, and cash management.

• Propel operational transformation utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles, enhancing OEE, productivity initiatives, and cost optimization.

• Enhance plant performance, accountability, and standardized operating systems throughout the manufacturing network.

• Formulate and implement the operations strategy, encompassing capacity planning, footprint optimization, and decisions regarding industrial investments.

• Ensure effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), production scheduling, and alignment between customer demand and manufacturing capabilities.

• Reinforce industrialization, program launches, and performance in serial production.

• Foster continuous improvement in plant profitability, operational efficiency, and working capital management.

• Build, develop, and harmonize an international team of plant and operations leaders.

• Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to achieve strategic business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations in the automotive components sector or a similar industrial setting.

• Proven track record of managing P&L, driving operational transformation, and enhancing performance.

• International experience overseeing manufacturing operations in diverse markets and production environments.

• Strong technical knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes, preferably in rubber, elastomers, extrusion, fluid systems, or related technologies.

• Demonstrated success in improving operational performance and transforming underperforming sites.

• Familiarity with automotive production, industrialization, customer requirements, and quality standards.

• Strong financial and commercial insight, including cost management, profitability, CAPEX, and working capital.

• Hands-on, pragmatic, and accountable leadership approach.

• Ability to influence, challenge, and align stakeholders within a complex organization.

• Proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel internationally.
