Integration Engineer – MuleSoft, APIs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations utilizing the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

• Develop APIs and services using architectures based on API-led Connectivity.

• Construct integration flows using Mule 4 and Anypoint Studio.

• Create data transformations and mappings using DataWeave.

• Design and implement REST APIs and, when necessary, SOAP.

• Integrate various applications, platforms, databases, and enterprise services.

• Work with data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV.

• Participate in designing API specifications using RAML.

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of developed solutions.

• Monitor and resolve issues related to integrations.

• Engage in deployment processes and CI/CD.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, DevOps, and other technical stakeholders.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs and integrations.

• Apply best practices in development, security, performance, and scalability.

• Develop robust, scalable, and secure integrations from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in developing integrations with MuleSoft.

• Experience with Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform.

• Strong knowledge of DataWeave.

• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.

• Knowledge of RAML and API design.

• Experience working with JSON and XML.

• Knowledge of Java and/or object-oriented programming.

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git.

• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps.

• Ability to analyze technical problems and propose integration solutions.

• Official MuleSoft certifications: a plus.

• Experience with Salesforce: a plus.

• Experience with ERP/CRM systems like SAP, Salesforce, or others: a plus.

• Experience with microservices architectures: a plus.

• Knowledge of API security, OAuth 2.0, and authentication: a plus.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies: a plus.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Quality-oriented with good development practices.

• Ability to work independently.

• Effective communication with technical and business teams.

• Collaborative work style.

• Results-oriented.
