This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the complete integration architecture for the MyCDW platform, which includes integrating ServiceNow with TAPR, SMTAP, and Platform Management.
• Develop integration patterns, establish API and event-driven standards, and define the middleware/iPaaS strategy along with data-exchange contracts.
• Create and uphold the Managed Services ServiceNow Customer and Partner Integrations Policy and associated governance.
• Design the agentic harness, incorporating governance, guardrails, monitoring, and instrumentation for AI agents.
• Execute automation based on AI and rules, along with predictive analytics and automated workflows.
• Engineer integrations and automations focusing on performance, resilience, observability, speed, and efficient resource usage.
• Ensure that solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements, including PCI DSS and SOC 2.
• Assess integration, automation, and agentic/AI platforms and frameworks through benchmarking and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Develop prototypes and adapt quickly when certain approaches are ineffective.
• Collaborate with the Principal Applications Architect to align with target-state architecture.
• Set integration coding standards, reusable patterns, and architectural guidelines.
• Work closely with development, engineering, security, and product teams.
• Maintain documentation such as integration registers, automation runbooks, architecture diagrams, design decisions, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and automation challenges during the development and deployment phases.
• Balance technical requirements against budget limitations and make cost-effective technology choices.
• Engage with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage technology partnerships.
• Monitor emerging trends in automation and agentic-AI, proposing innovative solutions accordingly.
• Develop quality assurance processes, testing protocols, and monitoring tools for integrations and automated workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, along with 10 years of experience in IT, which includes software/integration development and systems architecture, OR 14 years of experience in IT, focusing on integration development and systems architecture.
• Profound hands-on experience in designing enterprise integration architectures, including REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven and message-based patterns, iPaaS/middleware, ETL, and webhook/streaming integrations.
• Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks, with experience in deploying automated workflows and orchestration at scale.
• In-depth knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles and applications, including AI-driven, machine-learning, and agentic automation solutions.
• Familiarity with governance, monitoring, and instrumentation for safely managing AI automation solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of technologies, platforms, and frameworks relevant to globally scaled managed-services platforms.
• Capability to develop and implement integration and automation strategies that align with organizational objectives.
• Experience in leading teams, collaborating across departments, and influencing strategic decisions.
• Proven ability to drive digital transformation, encourage innovation, and manage change effectively.
• Understanding of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, especially PCI DSS and SOC 2 concerning data in motion.
• Proficient in presenting to customers and sales teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies and architectural patterns.
• Extensive knowledge of network architecture, security principles, and infrastructure management.
• Exceptional strategic problem-solving skills and the ability to convert future trends into actionable enterprise plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including collaboration, leadership, influencing, and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated success in designing and implementing large-scale, complex integrations and automation solutions.
• Extensive experience across applications, data, infrastructure, security, and cloud services.
• Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, MID Server, iPaaS (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi), and agent/automation frameworks is advantageous.
• A Master’s degree is considered a plus.
• Annual bonus target of 10% subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
