This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and manage comprehensive solutions architecture.
• Develop and sustain Single Line Diagrams that incorporate electrical subsystems, gas power turbines, Energy Management Systems, battery energy storage, and grid hardware and software.
• Assess and suggest design architectures tailored to specific applications.
• Conduct studies and simulations to confirm system response and performance.
• Establish equipment LCOE and operational interfaces with business units.
• Convert customer reliability requirements into actionable tasks for internal teams and assist in LCOE and reliability analysis.
• Oversee the definition of onsite generation reports, collect data for customer meetings, and deliver final reports.
• Facilitate business unit coordination for ongoing customer projects and proposals.
• Aid and direct cross-functional coordination studies and requirements testing for complete power systems.
• Work collaboratively with Consulting Services and GE Vernova engineering, sales, and product development teams.
• Assist in interpreting gas turbine studies to guide system design and optimization.
• Create reference architectures for scalable applications and apply them to customer projects.
• Engage with utilities and Independent System Operators to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.

• Contribute to the enhancement of GE Vernova’s power systems capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or power systems engineering from an accredited university or college.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in engineering, product management, or related roles.
• Over 3 years of experience in delivering projects on-time and within budget as an individual contributor or project manager.
• More than 3 years of experience in gas turbine, combined-cycle, or turbomachinery application engineering.
• Profound understanding of equipment performance and operating characteristics, including ramp rates, black-start options, emissions, and possible upgrades or design modifications to enhance heat rate, output, and overall plant performance.
• Willingness and ability to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capacity to lead engineering teams towards high-value technical solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presentations to both internal and external business executives.
• Familiarity with governmental structures and stakeholders, global energy policies, international power system codes and standards, power market frameworks, and the macroeconomic effects of regulatory changes.
• General knowledge of power systems and control phenomena, such as steady-state flow, voltage stability, least-cost generation planning and operation, and control coordination.
• Basic understanding of technical regulatory standards and the evaluation, testing, and reporting of grid code compliance.
• General awareness of power systems equipment, including generation, load smoothing and storage, transmission, distribution, and industrial equipment.
• Some understanding of controls concepts applicable to grid-interactive power systems equipment.
• Familiarity with load flow, dynamic stability, and/or production simulation modeling concepts, applications, and validation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
