Intake Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Report to the Senior Coordinator

• Act as the initial point of contact for clients concerning the transfer of legal representation to Momentum Immigration

• Ensure timely communication with foreign national clients regarding case onboarding and subsequent steps

• Conduct an initial assessment of client matters, including urgency, deadlines, and de-escalation processes

• Aid in the smooth and timely transition of client matters to Momentum Immigration

• Communicate with clients about the transfer of legal representation; send Engagement Letters and G-28 forms, and collect necessary signatures

• Transfer documents between databases and upload files into SharePoint and immigration software

• Collect and organize supporting documentation required for attorney onboarding or responses to immigration authority inquiries

• Draft responses to straightforward RFEs, including medical exam requests and uncomplicated documents such as birth certificates and translations

• Compile drafted RFEs

• Meet assigned deadlines and keep the Senior Coordinator and/or attorney informed about case progress and any issues

• Collaborate with USCIS Immigration Specialists, Coordinators, managers, and attorneys

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned

• Strong organizational abilities and capability to meet deadlines

• Keen interest in working within a team-oriented setting

• High attention to detail

• Proven history of delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced environment

• Eagerness to learn about U.S. immigration law

• Previous experience in U.S. immigration is advantageous

• Familiarity with immigration case management systems, such as INSZoom, is a plus

• Some college education or an Associate's degree is preferred

• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar role

• Previous experience with Employment-Based or similar immigration programs is beneficial

• Ability to work remotely in the United States
