Intake Coordinator, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead families from their first inquiry until the care is officially initiated.

• Actively follow up through phone calls, texts, and emails.

• Ensure all necessary information and documentation are completed promptly.

• Assist families in understanding insurance requirements, including Tricare ECHO enrollment and referrals.

• Coordinate benefit verification and communicate subsequent steps.

• Collaborate with billing and insurance departments to resolve issues.

• Clarify patient responsibilities, coverage, and anticipated costs.

• Set clear expectations regarding timelines, requirements, and readiness for care.

• Build trust while ensuring urgency and accountability.

• Work alongside billing, operations, and partnerships to expedite cases.

• Identify obstacles early and drive resolutions.

• Ensure smooth transitions when families are prepared to begin care.

• Evaluate family compatibility with Alpaca’s model and providers.

• Address concerns and ensure alignment prior to the commencement of services.

• Maintain precise records and tracking across various systems.

• Recognize patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities to enhance intake workflows.

• Take on additional responsibilities to improve the speed and quality of care access.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English (mandatory).

• A strong sense of empathy paired with the ability to assert when necessary.

• Clear and confident communication skills, particularly concerning complex or sensitive subjects.

• Comfortable navigating uncertainty and solving problems in real-time.

• A sense of ownership and the capability to proactively resolve issues.
