This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients in the Immigration sector.
• Oversee the legal strategy of the Business Development team to ensure compliance with firm protocols regarding intake information and retainer agreements.
• Provide strategic legal consultations and case assessments in person, through virtual platforms, or over the phone.
• Offer advice on immigration options, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Evaluate consultations, intake forms, and supporting documentation to determine case viability.
• Assess client eligibility and suggest suitable legal pathways.
• Relay case details and recommendations to Case Consultants.
• Clearly articulate complex immigration concepts and viable legal strategies.
• Examine immigration filings and application packets for accuracy and legal adequacy.
• Formulate case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS interviews.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis to uncover benefits, relief options, and potential risks.
• Draft, review, and submit legal briefs pertaining to immigration matters.
• Collaborate with the training team to improve legal training and subject matter content.
• Work alongside leadership to enhance processes, client experience, and operational efficiency.
• Drive revenue performance while maintaining firm standards and compliant intake processes.
• No responsibility for caseload management.
• Juris Doctor degree and an active bar license in good standing.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Immigration Law, including litigation.
• Familiarity with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR removal defense, Citizenship, and USCIS applications.
• Background in criminal law is advantageous.
• Proficient in conducting legal consultations, intake assessments, or case evaluations.
• Strong skills in legal analysis, issue spotting, and decision-making.
• Competence in using CRM, case management software (CLIO), and virtual communication tools.
• Excellent client focus and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in a KPI-driven work environment.
• Demonstrated capability to contribute to revenue growth.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Availability to work a 40-hour weekday schedule with flexibility for weekends.
• Must be eligible to practice law with an active bar license in good standing.
