Instrument Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Oversee accounts and various customer types throughout Northern Ireland and the adjacent border counties in Ireland.

• Specialize in Environmental and Life Science applications.

• Market and sell chromatography, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and Biotek products.

• Formulate and execute sales strategies to surpass targets.

• Acquire new business while nurturing and expanding the existing customer base.

• Meet sales quotas and forecasts while enhancing market share in designated accounts.

• Build customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction within the Environmental sector.

• Seek out new customers and opportunities by promoting Agilent’s latest New Product Introductions (NPIs) and recognizing market trends.

• Identify and collaborate with key opinion leaders to foster industry relationships and increase Environmental market share.

• Comprehend customer requirements and provide solutions for non-standard tasks and inquiries.

• Collaborate with various Agilent departments, including Consumables, Service Delivery, Service Sales, Customer Operations Center, and Cell Analysis Molecular Research.

• Partner with Field Sales and global marketing teams on marketing initiatives.

• Manage the sales cycle and accurately forecast sales outcomes.

• Maintain updates in the CRM, manage expense reports, and adhere to other essential business processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD, Bachelor's or Master's Degree, or an equivalent University qualification.

• Over 2 years of experience in selling instruments/solutions within Agilent's markets.

• Practical knowledge of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry in an analytical laboratory setting.

• Proven understanding of the instrumentation laboratory market in Northern Ireland and Ireland.

• Strong networking skills to align customer priorities and influence key stakeholders.

• Must possess a valid Irish driver’s license.

• Proficient in English.

• Capable of negotiating and resolving critical customer issues.

• Ability to engage with all organizational levels for both internal and external customers.

• Experience in laboratory settings and method development for chromatography and mass spectrometry.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Strong internal and external networking capabilities.

• Effective self-management, organizational, and prioritization skills.

• Teamwork and collaboration skills, including resource management and team leadership.
