This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of high-quality, standardized educational content to promote global product adoption and ensure customer success.
• Lead and nurture a team of Instructional Designers and multimedia developers.
• Establish priorities, capacity plans, and delivery expectations for international content projects.
• Encourage teamwork and continuous improvement within the content team.
• Define and uphold standardized course templates, learning taxonomies, and development workflows.
• Guarantee consistency across self-paced courses, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), webinars, and knowledge base educational materials.
• Manage content governance, including version control, metadata standards, content audits, and quality assessments.
• Collaborate with Academy and Product Trainer roles to ensure technical and instructional standards are met prior to release.
• Work together with Product Trainers, Professional Services, and Product SMEs to transform technical knowledge into accessible, outcome-driven learning experiences.
• Align educational content with product strategy, release timelines, and customer adoption objectives.
• Maintain feedback mechanisms between regional delivery teams and the global content strategy.
• Test and assess new learning tools, technologies, and design methodologies.
• Leverage learner feedback, analytics, and industry best practices to enhance content effectiveness.
• Contribute to the Global Product Education strategy.
• Assist with Academy release planning, content readiness, and platform deployment schedules.
• Provide insights into accreditation and certification programs.
• Contribute to reporting on content effectiveness, learner engagement, and adoption patterns.
• Support the onboarding and training of new team members and contractors.
• Engage in cross-functional planning sessions and strategic initiatives.
• Occasionally travel to regional offices or planning meetings.
• Perform additional administrative and technical tasks as needed.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or digital learning leadership.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring instructional design and content development teams.
• Strong foundation in adult learning theory, curriculum design, and scalable content production.
• Proficient with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia).
• Experience in designing learning solutions for SaaS, technical, or complex software products.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to translate technical insights into learner-centered outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail and quality.
• Comfortable operating in a global, cross-functional setting with fluctuating priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
• Experience in delivering customer-facing educational programs within a global or multi-regional organization.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and content governance practices.
• A background or experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or regulated industries is a significant advantage.
