This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of high-quality, standardized educational content that supports global product adoption and ensures customer success.
• Lead and nurture a team of Instructional Designers.
• Establish priorities, capacity plans, and delivery expectations for global content initiatives.
• Promote collaboration and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the content team.
• Define and uphold standardized course templates, learning taxonomies, and development workflows.
• Ensure uniformity across self-paced courses, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), webinars, and knowledge base educational content.
• Manage content governance, which includes version control, metadata standards, content audits, and quality evaluations.
• Collaborate with Academy and Product Trainer roles to maintain technical and instructional standards prior to release.
• Work alongside Product Trainers, Professional Services, and Product Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform technical knowledge into accessible, outcome-focused learning.
• Align educational content with product strategy, release schedules, and customer adoption objectives.
• Maintain feedback mechanisms between regional delivery teams and the global content strategy.
• Pilot and assess new learning tools, technologies, and design methodologies.
• Utilize learner feedback, analytics, and industry best practices to enhance content effectiveness.
• Contribute to the advancement of the Global Product Education strategy.
• Assist in Academy release planning, content readiness, and platform deployment timelines.
• Provide insights into accreditation and certification programs.
• Contribute to reports on content effectiveness, learner engagement, and adoption patterns.
• Aid in the onboarding and enablement of new team members and contractors.
• Engage in cross-functional planning and strategic initiatives.
• Travel occasionally to regional offices or for planning sessions.
• Perform additional administrative and technical tasks as required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or digital learning leadership.
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring instructional design and content development teams.
• Strong foundation in adult learning theory, curriculum design, and scalable content creation.
• Proficient in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise and Camtasia.
• Experience in designing learning programs for SaaS, technical, or complex software products.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate technical information into learner-centered outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Comfortable operating in a global, cross-functional environment with shifting priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
• Experience in delivering customer-facing educational programs in a global or multi-regional organization.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and content governance practices.
• A background or experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or regulated industries is a significant advantage.
