This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Oversee the ongoing enhancement of the quality curriculum improvement program for both adult undergraduate and graduate programs and courses.
• Create curriculums that incorporate biblical principles in each course, demonstrating to students how to apply these principles across all aspects of life.
• Apply Quality Matters-based quality standards for learning outcomes, assessment, course materials, learner engagement, and accessibility.
• Lead planning meetings for course development initiatives.
• Assess, update, and align course materials and assignments with the objectives of courses and programs.
• Complete course development tasks in accordance with development levels and project deadlines.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Development, academic teams, and subject matter experts on the design, development, evaluation, and refinement of instructional strategies.
• Implement continuous quality enhancements for Brightspace course shells.
• Direct the design and creation of multimedia resources.
• Adhere to guidelines related to fair use, copyright, and ADAAA compliance.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and training sessions as directed by the Director of Curriculum.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• A Master’s degree from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Two to three years of experience in instructional design is preferred.
• Experience in adult education and online education settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms such as Brightspace or similar systems is preferred.
• Experience in multimedia development utilizing Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Articulate, Captivate, Photoshop, or equivalent platforms is preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a strategic outlook.
• Capability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of expertise.
• Demonstrated up-to-date knowledge in instructional design and development, with a commitment to ongoing learning.
• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with stated evangelical beliefs.
• Ability to articulate personal faith and implement biblical principles in a professional setting.
• A strong sense of calling towards the ministry of Colorado Christian University.
• Consistent meaningful engagement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church.
• Well-versed in the Word of God and passionate about Christian education.

• Availability to work occasional irregular hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• May occasionally be required to lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
