Instructional Designer – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts from Product, Commercial, HR, and Leadership to convert intricate business and technical information into effective, scalable learning solutions.

• Create, develop, and implement learning experiences that facilitate onboarding, reboarding, product expertise, commercial excellence, and customer engagement skills.

• Take ownership of learner journey design, content creation, e-learning production, role-play simulation design, and Docebo administration and setup.

• Develop storyboards for learning programs, courses, and modules.

• Construct digital learning materials using Articulate Rise, Storyline, Docebo Create, or an equivalent tool.

• Incorporate scenario-based learning, branching dialogues, case studies, knowledge assessments, videos, gamification, and interactive simulations when applicable.

• Design realistic role-play exercises that align with CluePoints ICPs, buyer personas, and sales strategies.

• Set up AI-driven coaching simulations in Docebo for product value pitching, discovery, qualification, objection handling, value selling, and executive conversations.

• Establish coaching criteria, performance rubrics, and actionable feedback mechanisms.

• Organize courses, curricula, assignments, learning plans, certification pathways, and learner journeys within Docebo.

• Implement assessments, completion criteria, progress tracking, and reporting that align with onboarding and reboarding objectives.

• Ensure a seamless learner experience across digital, virtual, classroom, and performance-support resources.

• Create knowledge assessments, practical exercises, and competency evaluations.

• Define success metrics for engagement, completion, knowledge retention, skill application, and business impact.

• Analyze learner data and feedback, identify trends, and suggest evidence-based enhancements.

• Support a pilot cohort, collect feedback, and integrate agreed-upon modifications.

• Generate LMS administration and maintenance documentation.

• Provide editable source files, approved materials, and agreed operational guidelines upon contract completion.

• Initial engagement is projected to span 5–6 weeks, with the potential to extend to 8 weeks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in learning or instructional design.

• Ideally complemented by a portfolio showcasing B2B SaaS sales or commercial enablement initiatives.

• Capability to extract, simplify, and structure learning content from both technical and business Subject Matter Experts.

• Experience in curriculum, learner journey, storyboard, assessment, and performance-support design.

• Proficiency in at least one major authoring tool, such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Docebo Shape, iSpring, or a similar alternative.

• Hands-on experience with Docebo or a comparable LMS, including course configuration, learning plans, assessments, and reporting functionalities.

• Background in designing scenario-based learning, sales role plays, or AI-enabled coaching simulations.

• Strong stakeholder and independent project management abilities.

• Competence in managing SME reviews and delivery milestones within a lean team structure.

• Solid understanding of adult learning principles, accessibility, evaluation, and iterative improvement processes.
