This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
β’ Conduct analyses to assess performance and learning needs, recommending suitable learning solutions.
β’ Implement instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, or agile learning design.
β’ Develop measurable objectives that align with assessments and business goals.
β’ Create design documentation, storyboards, scripts, prototypes, interaction specifications, assessments, and production-ready materials.
β’ Develop responsive eLearning, microlearning, simulations, videos, job aids, instructor-led content, and virtual learning experiences.
β’ Collaborate with subject-matter experts to collect, synthesize, validate, and simplify complex technical or business information.
β’ Configure, publish, test, and sustain learning content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
β’ Package and troubleshoot SCORM and xAPI learning materials.
β’ Conduct functional, editorial, accessibility, and cross-browser quality assurance.
β’ Oversee multiple projects from initiation to deployment, including managing schedules, documentation, risk logs, stakeholder communications, and project scope.
β’ Utilize learner feedback, assessment outcomes, LMS data, and business performance indicators to assess effectiveness and propose enhancements.
β’ Notify the Training Leader of any changes that may impact scope, solution design, commitments, timelines, deliverables, or client outcomes.
β’ Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, learning technology, communications, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
β’ Two to four years of experience in designing and developing workplace learning, eLearning, or blended learning solutions.
β’ Expertise in storyboarding, scriptwriting, assessment design, and converting complex information into learner-centered experiences.
β’ Practical experience with at least one major authoring tool, such as Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate, along with familiarity with a learning management system.
β’ Working knowledge of LMS course administration, content testing, completion tracking, and reporting functionalities.
β’ A portfolio showcasing instructional rationale and completed works, including eLearning modules, storyboards, job aids, videos, or facilitator materials.
β’ Excellent written, visual, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar eLearning and multimedia tools.
β’ Experience managing LMS platforms such as Docebo, Cornerstone, Oracle Learning, Workday Learning, Canvas, Moodle, Intellum, or comparable LMS/LXP systems.
β’ Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, HTML5 learning products, learning analytics, and accessibility standards.
β’ Experience in designing scenario-based learning, software simulations, certification pathways, or enablement for customers and partners.
β’ Basic skills in graphic design, audio editing, video production, and visual storytelling.
β’ Experience leveraging AI-assisted design or authoring workflows with necessary human review for accuracy, accessibility, and instructional quality.
β’ Prior experience in technology, financial services, insurance, healthcare, aviation, or other regulated sectors.
β’ Relevant professional development or certification through ATD, CPTD, instructional design, accessibility, or eLearning programs.
