Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop engaging instructional materials for eLearning, virtual classrooms, and instructor-led training sessions.

• Perform needs assessments and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish learning objectives.

• Develop storyboards, course content, and assessments that align with organizational goals.

• Ensure that training materials are interactive, visually captivating, and accessible to all learners.

• Continuously enhance instructional design processes and methodologies.

• Facilitate course delivery as required, especially during Train-the-Trainer sessions and when launching new courses.

• Oversee the effective delivery of new training materials and collect initial feedback for course enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.

• 3-5 years of experience in the field of instructional design.

• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate and Captivate.

• Strong understanding of instructional design models and principles.

• Capability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent communication skills for developing training manuals and procedures.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with team members and learners.

• Presentation skills necessary for training and educating employees.

• Proficient in personal computer usage and business solutions software.

• Solid analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in multimedia and desktop software for designing training materials.

• Project management skills are essential.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Ability to quickly assimilate large volumes of information and distill it into teachable segments.
